With many things to see and do, Bournemouth and Poole have much to offer
entertainment-wise. Bournemouth boasts two cinemas, an ABC and an
Odeon and one controversial Imax cinema. It has over 30 nightclubs and bars
which cater for all possible styles and taste in music from Jazz,
to Soul and Garage, there is something for everyone in Bournemouth.
However many nightclubs and bars there are, there are twice as many
pubs situated all over the town to be enjoyed.
Bournemouth and Poole have a strong cultural background as well. Both towns have serious museums and galleries such as the Russel Coates art museum and in Poole, the Waterfront Museum, taking you back over thousands of years. Bournemouth and Poole are often host to one-off concerts with top bands and comedians its firmly part of the touring circuit. Bournemouth has a late night capacity for 20,000 people.
Poole is home to Tower Park, the south's biggest leisure centre, just 3 miles from Poole town centre and 5 miles from Bournemouth, it is full of fun packed attractions. The premier leisure centre incorporates a 10 screen cinema, 10 pin bowling, water slide park, bars, a nightclub and a number of restaurants. Parking is also free.
Bournemouth also has bowling alleys - no less than five.
