Tower Park ...
One of the first complexes of its kind, Tower Park is apparently named after the large concrete water tower that dominates the site.
Situated about 3 miles to the north west of Poole centre, attractions include a SplashDown water park with flumes, slides or whatever you call them, a Megabowl bowling alley, UCI cinema, numerous restaurants and fast food outlets plus a huge Tesco store.
A £5 million modernisation and refurbishment programme was completed in March 2006 which has added several new restaurants, a thrilling new ride at Splashdown and an LA Fitness health club.
