Splash Down Rides

Splash Down is part of the Tower Park complex in Poole offering a range of swimming pools and water rides for all the family. Splashdown has 12 different water rides and slides that are great fun for the whole family. Four of these are seasonal as the Mississippi Drifer, Grand Canyon, The Screamer and The Tennesee Twister run outside of the main indoor swimming pool. These water slides and the Mississippi Drifer inflatable ring ride are open from the May Day Bank Holiday as the UK weather is a little unpredictable before then. 
 
The inside of Splash Down features a number of indoor water flumes including The Spacebowl, Red River Roller and Zambezi Drop but these are not the only swimming pool activities on offer. There are a number of jacuzzi style spa pools and a bubble bench, which provide an area for parents to relax in while the kids are enjoying themselves. There are also a number of inflatable toys and rings, which children of all ages can enjoy.

Swimming Lessons

The Slash Down Swimming Academy offers lessons in one of the smaller swimming pools in the complex. The age range for swimming lessons start from 3 months old to get babies used to being in the water and to teach them basic swimming skills. These courses then extend to beginner courses for children of all ages combining inflatable toys and floats to aid in training them in a number of different swimming techniques. Courses are also available for adults that would like to learn to swim. All of the swimming lessons take place in the training swimming pool which doesn't have a public viewing gallery and therefore offers a high level of privacy.

Other Facilities

Aside from the swimming activities there are other services that Splash Down offers. There is the Sun Down tanning salon for anyone who wants to top up their tan, the Key Largo Cafe for anyone who doesn't want to get wet.
