Bournemouth Aviation Museum

Occupying a 30,000 sq ft hanger at Bournemouth International Airport, Bournemouth Aviation Museum is the only UK Charitable Museum dedicated to preserving and displaying operational examples of historic aircraft, many of which can be seen at airshows across the UK.

Open all year round, the collection includes examples of both commercial and military aircraft and besides those which are operational, many form static displays with their cockpits accessible to the public.

The museum also houses a display of Rolls Royce aircraft engines, a large collection of scale model aircraft and various items of aircraft memorabilia.

There is also a picnic area with an unsurpassed view of the main runway and a gift shop with a large collection of specialist aircraft books and videos.
